Job Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated Scrum Master to lead Agile teams in delivering high-quality technology solutions while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This role is ideal for an experienced Scrum Master who demonstrates strong leadership, program coordination, and stakeholder management skills, with the potential to grow into a Release Train Engineer (RTE) role within a Scaled Agile (SAFe) environment.
The successful candidate will coach teams on Agile principles, drive execution excellence, remove impediments, and collaborate across multiple teams and organizations. Over time, this individual will expand their scope to support program-level planning, dependency management, risk mitigation, and large-scale delivery coordination.
Responsibilities:- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, Release management activities and Retrospectives.
- Coach teams on Agile values, principles, and best practices.
- Partner with Product Owners to ensure well-defined and prioritized backlogs.
- Remove obstacles that impede team progress and delivery.
- Track and communicate team metrics, delivery performance, and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous learning.
- Support teams in delivering quality solutions while maintaining predictable execution.
- Collaborate with engineering managers, architects, product managers, and business stakeholders.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of Scrum Master experience in Agile software delivery environments.
- Strong understanding of Agile principles, Scrum, Kanban, and Lean methodologies.
- Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching teams.
- Strong communication, conflict resolution, and collaboration skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Experience using Agile management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Rally.
Preferred- SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or equivalent certification.
- Experience supporting multiple Agile teams.
- Exposure to SAFe Program Increment (PI) Planning.
- Experience working in large enterprise environments.
- Understanding of dependency management and program-level coordination.
- Demonstrated interest in advancing toward Agile leadership roles such as RTE.
Pay Range: $96,200.00 - $160,300.00
