About the role

COUNTRY Financial is seeking a Sr. Quality Practice Lead in the IT Quality Assurance Consultant job profile to help strengthen, standardize, and advance testing practices across Technology. This Quality Engineering-level role provides enterprise quality assurance consulting, coaching, governance, and thought leadership to application areas, Agile Release Trains, value streams, and delivery teams. Rather than creating program-level test strategies or designing individual test cases, this role enables teams to improve how they plan, execute, measure, and continuously improve testing. The role researches modern industry testing practices, evaluates emerging tools and approaches, and recommends process and automation improvements that reduce test cycle time, improve release confidence, and accelerate time to production while maintaining quality, reliability, and alignment to enterprise standards.

Do you have what we're looking for?
• Typically requires 10+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.
• Experience in an IT Quality Assurance Consultant, Quality Practice Lead, Quality Engineering Lead, QA Governance Lead, QA Transformation Lead, Test Lead, QA Manager, or similar role.
• Experience coaching teams on testing standards, defect management, test reporting, risk-based testing, regression testing, automation adoption, and continuous improvement.
• Experience with quality metrics, defect leakage analysis, test case quality, test coverage, release readiness reporting, dashboards, and process improvement programs.
• Experience with test management, defect management, requirements traceability, and delivery tools such as Rally, Azure DevOps, Jira, GitLab, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of insurance, financial services, or other regulated business domains.
• Familiarity with modern quality practices and tools including AI-enabled testing, quality gates in CI/CD, test automation accelerators, performance testing, observability, test data management, and test environment management.
• Ability to work across multiple teams and priorities in a dynamic environment where work may occasionally extend beyond normal business hours as business needs dictate.

Base Pay Range:
$113,200-$155,650

The base pay range represents the typical range of potential salary offers for candidates hired. Factors used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, qualifications and experience.

Incentive Pay:

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a Short-Term Incentive plan.
