Job Description

This position is responsible for performing program management activities associated with commercial and military guidance and navigation product development. The product areas include a wide variety of navigation systems including Inertial Measurement Units, Mission Computers and 2-Axis Rate Systems for missile applications.

The Seior PM effects such program deliverables in close coordination with Engineering, Product Management, Integrated Supply Chain and other cross-functional contributors, while ensuring program objectives, scope, schedule, and investment baselines are maintained-per-plan.

This position requires extensive interface with the Customer Business Manager (CBM), technical managers, product line engineers, integrated supply chain, the customer & product support team.

Job tasks also includes extensive communications and direction of supporting functions such as contracts, program planning & control and finance. This position also requires travel to assist in interfacing with key customers and major suppliers/partners.

The successful applicant reports to the Interceptors Customer Business Manager and direct charges the program(s) he / she manages. Required location is Clearwater, FL on a 3/2 day hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Manages matrixed program team(s) to achieve business objectives of the Defense & Space Lockheed Martin (DSLM) CBT.
  • Ability to communicate complex program management and financial issues to all levels, effectively linking program performance with financial results and product line strategies.
  • Execute on scope, schedule, cost, delivery, and quality while demonstrating program management skill
  • Direct the work and approve resource requirements and program estimates while leading integrated program teams utilizing Integrated Product Delivery & Support (IPDS) Process.
  • Generate and implement program plans and business requirements within approved budget and schedule constraints.
  • Coordinate with various Customer Business Teams (CBTs) and Global Business Enterprise (GBE) to ensure their application programs are supported in terms of technical performance, schedule, and cost requirements
  • Employ PM tools and development processes, including statement-of-work (SOW) or Line of Balance (LOB), work-breakdown- structure (WBS), basis-of-estimate (BOE) management, scope / requirements management, scheduling, and cost management in accordance with all Aerospace Procedures (AP) and Aerospace Guidance (AG)
  • Establish and own a programmatic Management Operating System (MOS)
  • Direct domestic and/or global Program Control (PC) team member(s)


Qualifications

MUST HAVE
  • 7 years of experience or knowledge of the Aerospace industry specifically in navigation related technologies / functionalities
  • 3 years of Aerospace program management and/or project engineering experience
  • Must have or be eligible for a security clearance due to contractual requirements.

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

The annual base salary range for this position is $180,000 - $196,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
