Senior Product Marketing Manager – TAVI

THE OPPORTUNITY

Structural Heart Business Mission: Why We Exist

Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life by designing and providing device and management solutions for treating structural heart disease.

The Senior Product Marketing Manager - TAVI, will lead downstream marketing efforts while maintaining US product expertise for TAVI products, including market sizes/trend share, customer needs and targeting, product performance/benefits/weaknesses/positioning.

The preferred location for this position is Plymouth, MN but may consider Santa Clara, CA location also.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

  • Provide on-going field support and will focus on growing the market awareness for TAVI and related disease states, including launching new products.
  • This position will work closely with the sales team and be responsible for aspects of US strategy implementation including digital strategy and channel execution.
  • Success will be measured against sales and margin expectations, sales force competency/knowledge level and development of marketing programs which enhance field and customer experience.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of US competitor products and strategies, market trends and dynamics, market/franchise critical success factors, and customer needs.
  • Contribute to annual marketing plans/strategies including market analysis, customer segmentation and targeting, product positioning, competitive assessments, and SWOT situation assessment.
  • Manage field device demo needs, tracking sales & patient resource utilization, and working with communications manager to manage promotional collateral.
  • Take a leadership role on project teams to work closely with the project manager to drive accountability and team achievement of goals and milestones.
  • Manage creative agencies to plan, develop, and execute new US materials.
  • Partner with regulatory colleagues in the review and negotiation of materials to ensure competitiveness, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Drive to deliver Sales, Margin, and key performance metrics for TAVR products.
  • Will be expected to be responsive and able to directly address questions and requests of senior management.

  

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING 

Required Qualifications

  • Prior marketing experience within medical device or healthcare industry.
  • Bachelors’ Degree with 6+ years related marketing or product management experience, preferably in TAVI/TAVR. MBA with 4+ years of related experience also considered.
  • Relevant downstream marketing experience.
  • Ability to travel 30% of the time.
  • Able to understand technical and scientific information.
  • Able to handle a fast-paced working environment.
  • Substantial financial skills, market analysis and advanced communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills as well as written and oral communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Willing to understand and comply with Regulatory requirements.
  • Able to influence and motivate individuals from sales, marketing, and other functional areas to drive product sales.
  • Ability to complete multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines.

The base pay for this position is

$113,300.00 – $226,700.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
