Full Job Description
About the Role

Netskope Product Managers are the bridge between our customers' business needs and the fast-moving trends of the security market, and we're looking for a Senior Product Manager to help lead our strategy for Global Compliance. In this role, you'll be the key person driving the technical specs and execution needed to scale our global public sector and government business. You'll own the requirements that help Netskope meet stringent international regulatory frameworks (think US FedRAMP/DISA IL, Australia IRAP, Japan ISMAP, UK Public Sector, and Canada PBMM) alongside evolving regional Data Sovereignty mandates. Working right in the middle of Product, Core Engineering, Global Information Security (GIS/GRC), Platform Engineering, PMO, and Field Sales, you'll turn complex compliance requirements into scalable platform features and repeatable, market-ready offerings.

What's in it for You
  • High-Impact Ownership: You'll be directly responsible for a strategic revenue driver, helping Netskope expand into high-value US Federal and international public sector markets.
  • Transformational Scope: You'll help us shift from reactive "best-effort" compliance firefighting into a more proactive, strategic approach to building architectural platform capabilities.
  • Cross-Functional Influence: You'll get deep visibility and leadership experience by serving as the primary bridge between Product, Engineering, and global regulatory bodies, shaping how a market-leading security platform interfaces with international standards.
  • Strategic Authority: You'll be the go-to expert representing Netskope's compliance architecture to government auditors and agencies, establishing yourself as a subject matter expert in the rapidly evolving world of global data sovereignty.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Compliance Program Strategy: Drive the end-to-end roadmap for Global Compliance and Data Sovereignty, making sure our security posture aligns with the rigorous requirements of government markets in the US, EMEA, APJ, and LATAM.
  • Regulatory & Standards Translation: Take complex global regulatory standards and turn them into actionable requirements, ensuring our platform always meets the criteria for certifications and sovereign data mandates.
  • Program Lifecycle Management: Partner across the organization-including Engineering, Program Management, Product Management, Corporate Engineering, Legal, HR, and Finance-to weave security and compliance requirements into our projects and business processes.
  • Compliance Standardization: Take regional compliance initiatives (like UK Public Sector, Australia IRAP, or Japan ISMAP) and scale them into repeatable, enterprise-grade programs that serve as the foundation for our global government business.
  • Strategic Enablement: Work with Marketing and Sales to translate our compliance posture and certifications into content that truly resonates with customers.
  • Operational Optimization: Help us modernize how we handle compliance by integrating AI, automation, and advanced GRC tooling to streamline things like evidence collection and continuous monitoring.
  • Stakeholder & Auditor Engagement: Act as the main authority on our regulatory commitments, representing Netskope's compliance architecture to government auditors, agencies, and enterprise customers.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in Product Management, Technical Program Management, or Security Engineering.
  • 5+ years of direct experience in cloud security, enterprise networking, SaaS, or infrastructure security platforms.
  • Compliance & Framework Fluency: You have a deep technical understanding of global security and regulatory standards like FedRAMP, PBMM, DoD SRG, CMMC, NIST SP 800-53, FIPS 140, Common Criteria, ISO 27001, SOC 2, Australia IRAP, Japan ISMAP, and regional data residency laws.
  • Proven PM Execution: You've got a track record of writing solid technical PRDs, working closely with agile software engineering teams, and successfully launching cloud-native capabilities.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: You know how to influence senior engineering leaders, GRC teams, and external auditors, even when you aren't their direct manager.
  • Analytical & Communication Skills: You're great at explaining things, with the ability to turn complex legal and regulatory jargon into clear technical requirements and executive summaries.
  • Adaptability: You're comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where priorities shift and there are multiple things happening at once.

Preferred Qualifications
  • US Citizenship with an active US Government Security Clearance (Secret or above) is a strong plus.
  • Technical or security certifications like CISSP, CISA, CISM, CCSP, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer.
  • Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and data sovereignty/encryption technologies.
  • Experience scaling product management processes or mentoring junior team members.

Education
  • A BS in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Systems, or equivalent technical experience is required. An MS in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or an MBA is strongly preferred.
