Popular Private Client - NYMWe are currently looking for a
SR PRIVATE BANKING SERVICE OFFICER to support Private Bankers and the Wealth Management and Private Banking division generally serving as the primary point of contact for all service related needs and administrative matters concerning Private Banking clients. In this position you will be responsible for nurturing, maintaining and building client relationships. You must be passionate about and highly effective at delivering extraordinary service and ensuring an exceptional level of client satisfaction and support on a consistent basis.
In this position, you will:- Manage daily client transactions and inquiries accurately, within established deadlines, and in accordance with existing policies and procedures.
- Provide high quality service to Private Banking clients.
- Work in a team-oriented environment with Private Banking, in order to deliver a seamless and integrated approach to client banking.
- Research, follow-up, and resolve client inquiries and problems through effective interaction with clients, bankers, product and service partners, branch/operations areas and other internal staff and any necessary third parties, in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate and follow through on client requests for products and services (i.e. open/close accounts, check orders, credit draw downs/pay downs, credit card requests, IRAs, ATMs, etc.).
- Identify sales opportunities for bankers and product partners when appropriate.
- Provide administrative support to team to include but not be limited to: 1) letter and memo preparation; 2) filing; 3) data entry; 4) spreadsheet maintenance and 5) a variety of other administrative responsibilities.
To be considered, you will need:- High School Diploma or equivalent (required). Associates degree preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of sales and service experience in a private banking setting preferred.
- Strong attention to operational policies and procedures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in Microsoft Office programs (required). (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships both internally and externally.
Base Salary & BenefitsOur base salary for this position located in
New York City generally ranges between
$85,000.00 and
$85,000.00 annually, depending on business need and on your qualifications and experience. Base salary does not include incentive compensation, commission, or any other type of remuneration or benefits.
