Req ID: 357162 NTT DATA's Client is currently seeking a Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance (F) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) Consultant to join our Application Managed Services (AMS) team in Canada. This role is ideal for a seasoned functional consultant with strong solution architecture capabilities who thrives in post-implementation environments, ensuring system stability, continuous improvement, and business value realization. The consultant will play a key role in supporting, optimizing, and enhancing Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM solutions for enterprise clients. Experience in the commercial transportation and logistics industry is a strong asset, enabling effective alignment of Dynamics 365 F&SCM capabilities with industry-specific operational needs. In addition to deep functional expertise, this role requires strong techno-functional capabilities, including a solid understanding of D365 F&SCM architecture, data models, integrations, and extensibility frameworks. The ideal candidate can bridge business and technical teams, proactively improving technical design quality, solution efficiency, and long-term maintainability within an AMS environment. Role Expectations As a Senior Dynamics 365 F&SCM Consultant in an AMS role, you will be expected to: Provide functional leadership and subject matter expertise across Dynamics 365 FSCM modules in a managed services environment Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, translating operational requirements into scalable and supportable solutions Lead solution design and architecture decisions for enhancements, integrations, and optimizations Deliver L2/L3/L4 application support, including issue analysis, root cause identification, and long-term remediation Drive continuous improvement initiatives, system performance optimization, and adoption of Dynamics 365 best practices Support change management, regression testing, and release management activities for minor enhancements Collaborate with technical teams, vendors, and offshore/onshore AMS resources Ensure solutions align with Microsoft standards, security, and compliance requirements Document functional designs, solution architecture, and operational procedures Mentor junior consultants and contribute to AMS process maturity Translate business requirements into high-quality Functional Design Documents (FDDs) with clear technical design considerations Partner with developers to co-author and review Technical Design Documents (TDDs) Evaluate and recommend configuration vs. extension vs. integration approaches based on Microsoft best practices Define integration design patterns using OData, REST APIs, Dual-write, Data Entities, and Azure integration services Support data migration strategy, including entity selection, data mapping, validation rules, and reconciliation Review and validate customizations to ensure adherence to the D365 extension model and avoid over-customization Participate in code/design reviews to ensure technical solutions align with functional intent Analyze performance issues with an understanding of batch jobs, data volume impact, indexing, and system behavior Provide guidance on security role design, segregation of duties (SoD), and compliance considerations Contribute to DevOps and release governance processes (Azure DevOps, LCS, build/release pipeline awareness) Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree 7+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management Proven experience in an Application Managed Services (AMS) or post-go-live support model - 5+ years experience Strong functional expertise (7+ years experience) in one or more of the following D365 SCM modules: Inventory Management Warehouse Management (WMS) Transportation Management Procurement and Sourcing Asset Management Hands-on experience in solution architecture and functional design and technical design collaboration - 7+ years experience Experience supporting integrations with third-party systems (e.g., TMS, WMS, EDI, financial systems) - 5+years experience Strong understanding of finance and supply chain business processes and end-to-end flows -
