Full Job Description
Summary:

As a Senior Media Planner, you'll develop and manage integrated upper-funnel campaigns across offline and online channels, including but not limited to linear TV, DIO OTT/CTV, OOH, YouTube, programmatic CTV and video, streaming audio, and influencer marketing. This client-facing role requires a strong omnichannel mindset and understanding of media planning, buying, analysis, testing, and optimization. You'll manage day-to-day campaign needs while collaborating closely with clients, internal teams, and media partners to ensure a cohesive and effective media approach.

  • Develop and manage integrated upper-funnel media plans across linear TV, DIO OTT/CTV, OOH, YouTube, programmatic CTV and video, streaming audio, influencer marketing, and other awareness-focused channels
  • Serve as a day-to-day client-facing media lead, communicating media recommendations, campaign updates, performance, optimizations, and next steps
  • Partner with Media Director to develop national and local market strategies focused on maximizing qualified reach, managing effective frequency, and building brand awareness
  • Utilize audience insights, reach and frequency analysis, competitive intelligence, marketplace data, and campaign learnings to inform channel mix, investment levels, audiences, and media environments
  • Manage tactical planning, including RFPs, partner evaluations, negotiations, flowcharts, budget management, creative specifications, and campaign authorizations


  • Partner closely with Investment, Activation, Analytics, and Operations teams to ensure strong cross-functional collaboration and alignment across all aspects of media planning and execution
  • Monitor campaign delivery, pacing, audience reach, and media performance, identifying opportunities to optimize investment and drive incremental reach
  • Mentor, train, and guide associate media planner, provide day-to-day support and oversight to build their media planning skills, strengthen their understanding of the business and support their overall growth

  • Able to communicate and present work with confidence and clarity, effectively manage and prioritize multiple workstreams, and serve as a trusted resource for the broader team


Academic/Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree


Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-4+ years of cross-channel media planning experience
  • Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to anticipate needs, stay ahead of deadlines, and drive work forward
  • Past planning of linear TV and OTT/CTV planning experience required
  • MRI-Simmons experience required, with the ability to analyze audience demographics, behaviors, and media consumption to inform planning and recommendations
  • Strong understanding of reach and frequency, audience delivery, dayparts, programming, media math, and marketplace dynamics
  • Experience developing and managing both national and local market media plans
  • Strong Excel skills, including experience managing media flowcharts, budgets, and campaign reporting
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign performance, identify key learnings, and develop actionable media recommendations
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience working directly with clients
  • Experience with DOOH, YouTube, programmatic video/CTV, and streaming audio is a plus
  • Mediaocean experience preferred, with hands-on Prisma experience for digital and OOH billing and reconciliation considered a plus
  • Experience with Nielsen Media Impact, Nielson One, Commspoint, and Comscore a plus
