Sr. Market Strategy Manager (Corporate Strategy) - Remote

Role summary

This is a net new strategic role responsible for shaping Omnicell's inorganic growth agenda.

You will evaluate market gaps, emerging adjacencies, and external opportunities to determine where Omnicell should invest, partner, or pursue acquisition.

The focus is not on running transactions. The focus is on identifying high-value opportunities, developing the strategic rationale, and informing leadership decisions before opportunities move into corporate development.

This is a strategy-first role. Heavy market segmentation, synthesis, and recommendation. High visibility with leadership.

What you will do

Inorganic growth strategy

  • Identify market gaps, growth opportunities, and adjacencies in healthcare and pharmacy technology


  • Define target segments, partners, and acquisition candidates


  • Build market sizing models and opportunity assessments


  • Validate opportunities through market research and customer insights


  • Deliver clear recommendations on where Omnicell should invest, partner, or acquire


Opportunity shaping and handoff

  • Build early-stage business cases and strategic rationale for opportunities


  • Frame opportunities for leadership alignment and prioritization


  • Partner with corporate development to transition qualified opportunities into deal evaluation


Market intelligence and analysis

  • Conduct secondary research using AI tools, databases, and internal data


  • Analyze market dynamics, competition, and emerging technologies


  • Synthesize complex data into clear strategic narratives


Cross-functional partnership

  • Work closely with corporate strategy, M&A, product, and engineering


  • Support validation of opportunities with product and technical leaders


  • Influence decisions without direct ownership of execution

What you bring

  • Strong preference for healthcare experience. Health tech, SaaS, or pharmacy ecosystem is a plus


  • Proven experience in market analysis, opportunity sizing, and growth strategy


  • Exposure to M&A or partnerships. Focus on opportunity assessment, not deal execution


  • Strong analytical skills. You know how to turn data into decisions


  • Executive communication. Clear, structured, and direct


  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and working upstream
