Job Description

What you'll do

  • Own inventory health performance improvement initiatives in partnership with Material Planning teams, utilizing analytics, governance, process improvement and execution support to improve inventory availability, fill rate, shortages, zero-stock events, AOG support and allocation effectiveness.
  • Lead a team of analysts responsible for developing, executing, monitoring and sustaining material planning analyses, operational support activities and improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with Supply Chain Transformation to deploy and operationalize new planning capabilities, processes, analytical methodologies and operating models.
  • Lead cross-functional Material Planning initiatives by establishing project plans, governance structures, stakeholder alignment, milestones and performance measures through operational adoption and sustainment.
  • Drive operational readiness, deployment support, adoption, training, stabilization and sustainment of newly deployed capabilities across the Material Planning organization.
  • Translate analytical insights into actionable recommendations that improve inventory health, planner effectiveness and operational performance.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions supporting AOG reduction, allocation optimization, customer-impact material management and inventory performance improvement.
  • Use performance metrics and operational analysis to identify and implement standardization, automation and process improvement opportunities that improve planning effectiveness and scalability in coordination with all Supply Chain teams.
  • Establish and lead governance reviews supporting station inventory performance, allocation strategy, deployment execution, campaign readiness and operational performance management.
  • Develop and maintain performance reporting, dashboards and analytical tools that support leadership decision-making and performance management.
  • Lead analysis and initiatives that improve planner productivity, workload balancing, alert management and planning process effectiveness.
  • Lead execution support activities that address operational challenges, ensure issue resolution in both the short term and long term, and enable successful implementation of Material Planning strategies across the organization.
  • Influence and align cross-functional stakeholders across Supply Chain, Tech Ops, Transformation, Procurement and Engineering to achieve desired business outcomes.
  • Provide executive-level reporting and recommendations regarding project status, business outcomes, risks, mitigation plans and improvement opportunities.
  • Develop team members and prepare them for increasing responsibility.

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, Engineering or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Airline Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Material Planning, Analytics or related operational functions.
  • Experience leading projects, initiatives, teams or cross-functional efforts.
  • Experience using data and analytics to support operational decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Airline Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics or Material Planning.
  • Experience leading direct reports.
  • Experience driving operational performance improvement initiatives.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects and influencing stakeholders.
  • Experience implementing business process, transformation or capability deployment initiatives.
  • Experience with inventory management, planning, forecasting or supply chain analytics.
