Job Brief

The position translates released engineering requirements into controlled, repeatable shop-floor processes while ensuring tooling, materials, workmanship, staffing, and schedules supporting safe and efficient production.

What You'll Do

As a Sr. Manager, you will lead the technical and operational execution of Mobile Processing Unit (MPU) assembly, and related manufacturing. The position translates released engineering requirements into controlled, repeatable shop-floor processes while ensuring tooling, materials, workmanship, staffing, and schedules supporting safe and efficient production. Other duties include:
  • Partner with engineering, field services, and fleet teams to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
  • Analyze newly implemented technology solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and collaborate with technical teams to design and deliver system architecture solutions.
  • Oversee financial performance of manufacturing operations, analyzing key cost drivers, forecasting expenditures, and ensuring alignment with annual operating plans and profitability goals.
  • Develop, improve, and maintain executable manufacturing processes, work instructions, labor standards, and production documentation for shop-floor use.
  • Direct daily manufacturing operations through Managers, including labor allocation, capacity planning, workflow, schedule execution, and elevating escalations to GMs/ VP.
  • Coordinate priorities and production risks with Product Management, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Planning, and other supporting functions.
  • Establish and monitor performance indicators such as on-time delivery, schedule attainment, first-pass yield, labor efficiency, rework, scrap, and safety performance.
  • Promote safe work practices and support equipment, facility, and capital planning for manufacturing growth.
  • Participate in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, performance management, and succession planning for manufacturing personnel.
  • Engage directly with customers to gather feedback on products and identify opportunities for improvement.


What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent field; Master Degree Preferred
  • 8+ years supervising personnel
  • 10+ years working in discrete manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing
  • Experience managing a set budget and company P&L
  • Ability to interpret and evaluate operating procedures and convey to employees
  • Expert in operations management
  • Detailed knowledge of HSE systems and processes
  • Working knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements
