*This position is located in Graham, Kentucky*What You'll Do:As a Mechanical Engineer for Reliability and Commissioning, you will provide mechanical engineering assurance for equipment, piping, materials, and construction activities for the TNT Project. The role ensures mechanical systems are safe, reliable, maintainable, and compliant with applicable codes and Dyno Nobel standards. Following commissioning, the role transitions to a site-based Mechanical Engineer supporting plant reliability. Other duties include
- Lead implementation of mechanical reliability and mechanical integrity programs for fixed and rotating equipment.
- Design, equipment selection, construction, commissioning, startup, and building the reliability program
- Review and assure mechanical and piping design deliverables
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and specifications
- Provide technical challenge to EPCM designs
- Support specification and selection of mechanical equipment
- Perform root cause failure analysis (RCFA) and recommend corrective actions.
- Support preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) program
- Review vendor data, drawings, and operating manuals
- Provide field engineering support during installation and testing
- Support punch listing, mechanical completion, and commissioning activities
- Provide engineering input to troubleshooting and improvements
- Develop and optimize preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies, including critical spare parts planning.
- Monitor equipment reliability metrics (MTBF, MTTR, availability) and drive continuous improvement.
- Identify reliability improvement opportunities through equipment performance analysis.
What We're Looking For:- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years experience in industrial facilities (chemicals/explosives preferred)
- Experience working with both static and rotating equipment
- Knowledge of ASME, API, piping and pressure equipment standards
- Experience supporting construction and commissioning preferred
- Strong understanding of maintainability and asset lifecycle
- Must be willing to undergo and pass an ATF background check as required to be a possessor of explosives
