Full Job Description
Primary Purpose

This position is part of the HR Employee Experience and Analytics team and is responsible for leading the HR Technology - ServiceNow team. The job will provide functional oversight within the HR Technologies domain working with a variety of HR systems, including ServiceNow. Manage the priority of requests and leads requirements definition, analysis, design and testing for various HR Technology solutions. The scope includes staffing, employee development, performance management and contributing to the strategic direction for the area. Delivers ad-hoc data requests and reports for HR system. Act as a business liaison between HR and IT

Note: This is a hybrid position (in-office with remote flexibility). Employees are required to be in office at least three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). This position must sit out of our Chicago- IL office.

Primary Duties

  • Serve as the functional and technical owner of the ServiceNow HR Service Delivery platform. Partner with HR Centers of Excellence, Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Learning, Payroll, Benefits, and IT. Translate business requirements into technology solutions.
  • Develop and execute the HR Technology - ServiceNow roadmap aligned with HR and business objectives. Identify opportunities to improve employee experience through automation, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and self-service and drive digital adoption.
  • Lead the redesign and automation of HR processes such as Employee onboarding, Offboarding, Leave management, etc. Implement workflows that reduce manual effort and improve service delivery
  • Lead HR Technology analysts, administrators, developers, and consultants. Establish priorities, manage workloads, and develop team capabilities. Foster Agile and product-oriented delivery practices.
  • Manage relationships with ServiceNow and implementation partners. Oversee budget, contracts and delivery timelines. Ensure successful implementations and upgrades.

Job Scope

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with HR Business partners, understand their HR technology needs, and provide strategic guidance to align technology solutions with their business objectives.
  • Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional and SI teams in the planning, implementation, and management of HR technology projects (mergers and acquisitions, HR transformation etc.), ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • People Manager: Supervise a team of 5 - 10 support analysts and contractors; providing clear and supportive direction, develop team member skillsets and manage staff performance.
  • HR Technology Expertise and thought leadership: Stay updated on the latest HR technology trends and developments and apply this knowledge to provide informed recommendations to clients.
  • Solution Design: Collaborate with clients to design and configure HR technology solutions that meet their specific requirements, including software selection, system integration, and customization.
  • Product Roadmaps: Defines application roadmaps as a domain SME, align solutions to business objectives.
  • Data Analytics: Define strategies for HR data analytics for improving HR processes and decision-making.
  • Quality Assurance: Provide oversight on quality assurance efforts to ensure the accuracy and functionality of HR technology solutions.
  • Change Management: Ensure change management is effectively implemented to facilitate the adoption of new HR technology systems within client organizations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in a business or an analytical discipline (Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field is a plus) and minimum 10 years of related experience.
  • At least 3-5 years experience in managing multiple teams or business functions. Management in an operations area is a plus.
  • Demonstrated project management, process analysis, operations management skills.
  • Demonstrated business acumen, influencing and facilitation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ServiceNow's HRSD Module
  • Experience in a functional role supporting Human Resources/ Payroll, or IT experience with a focus on HR, Workforce Management, Payroll or Talent Acquisition Technology (CRM, ATS, Onboarding, Career Sites)
  • Ability to lead a team of HR Solutions Analysts and/or Architects to maintain and continually improve HR technology
  • Strong understanding of HR technologies best practices and trends in domains of talent management, payroll, time and labor, performance management, etc.
  • Experience in one or more of the following: Oracle HCM or Payroll, Infor WFM, Service Now HR platform, iCIMS.
  • Strong project management skills and experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with RFPs, Product Implementations, solution and implement large custom solutions
  • Strong creative, analytical and problem skills and demonstrated skills within the HR functional area.
  • Strong communications skills with the ability to communicate to Technical and Non-Technical audiences and the ability to develop strong working relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and take leadership role in working with various stakeholders to identify and translate business requirements into functional specifications through hands-on analysis.

  • Annual salary will vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors: $145,600.00/Yr. - $200,200.00/Yr. plus an additional $25K in Long Term Incentive Plan annually.
