Full Job Description
The Legal Operations team is looking for a transformative leader to deliver strategic projects for T-Mobile's fast-paced Legal Department. As a Sr Manager, Legal Intelligence, this role will lead a small team that creates data structures from Legal tools and activities and uses those inputs to build a cohesive ecosystem of Legal reporting, business insights and analysis. We're looking for a master communicator and collaborator, who's deeply skilled in strategic storytelling with data and looking to lead big projects with major impact. What you'll do in your role. • Dive deep into understanding Legal department processes and utilize that knowledge to design a strategic Legal Intelligence ecosystem which enables AI automation and delivers on the Legal department's goals. • Manage all aspects of Legal data capture, maintenance, governance and output including, but not limited to, developing data pipelines, data models, and AI-enabled data solutions. • Collaborate daily with solution developers and program managers to ensure the data strategy is embedded in every Legal tool or technical solution project. • Work with Legal leaders to build Intelligence solutions which answer real life questions and drive decisions. • Formalize the Legal Intelligence roadmap and report on its progress. Evangelize the roadmap and the opportunities that a structured Legal Intelligence program brings to daily Legal work. • Keep pace with and apply T-Mobile data governance and policies to Legal Intelligence. Develop a wide network of collaborators within Legal, IT and across the company. Adapt to corporate and environmental changes, keeping track of new procedures, stakeholders, and/or approvals needed to drive Legal Intelligence forward. • Ensure the Legal Intelligence ecosystem runs smoothly - data pipelines are consistently working, push reports are going out, dashboards have accurate data, etc. • Lead a small team of high-performing employees and contractors with empathy and vision. The experience you'll bring. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analysis, or related fields. • 7+ years experience leading data intelligence teams including: • Data Engineering: Using SQL, Python or similar languages to ETL/ELT and to build pipelines, transformations, APIs, and other integrations. Creating mechanisms to retain data quality. • Data Architecture: Data modeling, utilizing data warehouses and lakehouses, working with structured and unstructured data, designing and implementing data architecture plans. • BI/Analytics: Creating semantic models, dashboards, KPIs, and other reporting. • 3+ years managing data intelligence teams including data engineers, data analysts and/or data scientists. • 2+ years' experience applying AI on top of data ecosystems to build complex technical solutions. • Modern Data/AI: Understanding how governed, well-modeled enterprise data supports AI, RAG/LLM applications, automations and analytics. • Experience translating complex data into strategic narratives for executive audiences. Actual earnings may be higher or lower depending on individual performance and overall company results. The base pay range reflects the compensation component of this opportunity. The candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
