This hybrid position will be located at our Foot Locker Office in New York, NY. Expectations for hybrid in-office schedule is three days a week, typically Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The Senior Manager, Banner Initiatives is an enablement focused role responsible for supporting the Foot Locker banner as they deliver on their strategies. This role ensures the banner is equipped with the right tools, in-store technologies, processes, and forward-looking capabilities needed to execute effectively today while preparing for the future. Serving as a key partner to banner teams, the Senior Manager helps translate banner strategies and priorities into actionable enablement plans across stores and field teams. This role is inherently forward thinking, focused on innovation, emerging retail trends, competitive insights, and continuous improvement to help banners stay ahead of the curve.
This role supports enterprise priorities by strengthening banner execution capabilities, improving field readiness, and accelerating innovation across the North America store portfolio. The Senior Manager represents the voice of the banners and stores throughout the development of tools and processes. They define business problems, articulate use cases, shape functional expectations, and ensure solutions are practical, intuitive, and store-ready. They own business-side readiness; driving communication, change management, training input, and adoption across the field.
Partnering closely with Banner Initiatives, Customer Experience, Store Operations, Technology, and Data teams, the Senior Manager serves as a connector between strategy and execution, helping remove friction, identify gaps, and ensure banners have what they need to win in a rapidly evolving retail landscape.

- Represent banners and stores in the technology lifecycle by defining business needs and use cases, ensuring solutions reflect the banners strategies.
- Influence the technology roadmap through close partnership with Technology, Data, CX, and Store Operations, ensuring alignment to banner strategies and store realities.
- Support the activation of new in-store tools, platforms, and technologies, ensuring solutions are intuitive, scalable, and field ready.
- Ensure capital projects include the right technological tools, systems, and capabilities by partnering with Real Estate, Technology, and Field teams.
- Identify executional gaps and friction points across stores; develop solutions that enhance clarity, efficiency, and overall store team experience.
- Lead store readiness, communication, and change-management planning to support the rollout and adoption of new tools and initiatives.
- Monitor retail, technology, and consumer trends to identify opportunities for innovation and future-focused capabilities across banners.
- Support pilot programs and test-and-learn initiatives to validate new tools, capabilities, and operational models before broader rollout.
- Maintain strong field connectivity through store visits and consistent feedback loops with field leadership to ensure initiatives remain grounded in frontline realities.
Qualifications- Minimum of 5 years in store or field leadership or a relevant corporate role.
- Experience in retail operations, store technology, strategy, or customer experience roles, preferably within consumer, retail, or sports/lifestyle brands is a plus.
- Strong understanding of retail store operations and field execution realities.
- Proven ability to translate strategy into practical, scalable enablement solutions.
- Experience supporting or implementing in store technology, tools, or operational processes.
- Forward thinking mindset with strong curiosity about retail innovation, emerging trends, and competitive landscapes.
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills.
- Comfortable managing multiple initiatives, priorities, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, with the ability to create clear, effective materials for cross functional and field audiences.
- Willingness and ability to travel for store and market visits as needed.

BenefitsThe base annual salary range for this role is $100000 to $130000. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
