Primary Responsibilities:- Define and execute the technology roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Lead architecture decisions for cloud-native applications, APIs, event-driven systems, and data platforms
- Drive modernization initiatives including application transformation, cloud migration, and platform simplification
- Establish engineering standards covering design, coding, testing, security, resiliency, and observability
- Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI/ML and Generative AI, for business applicability
- Promote adoption of AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, coding agents, automated testing, code quality analysis)
- Own end-to-end delivery of multiple products, applications, or portfolios
- Drive Agile delivery practices and continuous improvement initiatives
- Accountable for application availability, reliability, performance, and supportability

Required Qualifications: - Bachelor of Science in computer science or related quantitative field or 4+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
- 8+ years of software engineering experience
- 3+ years of people leadership experience managing managers and engineering teams
- Solid experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, RESTful APIs, Azure Cloud Platform, Kubernetes/OpenShift/AKS, CI/CD and DevOps practices, Event-driven architectures, Relational and NoSQL databases, Application observability and monitoring
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience using AI-powered development and productivity tools
- Knowledge of GenAI concepts such as LLMs, RAG, Prompt Engineering, AI Agents, Vector Databases, AI governance and responsible AI practices
- Exposure to Azure AI services, OpenAI, or enterprise AI platforms

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $148,900 to $255,300 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
