Job Description:

The Senior Information Security Analyst defines, develops and/or implements Technology Controls / Information Security related policies, programs, tools and provides specialized expertise and guidance on assessing risks, identifying potential gaps and providing security solutions to mitigate risks and protect the Bank. Participates on projects of moderate to high complexity and provide complex reporting, analysis, and assessments at the functional, business line or enterprise level for own area.

Depth & Scope:
  • Participates on projects of moderate to high complexity
  • Acts as a key resource and subject matter expert in at least one technology niche/ field and/or line of business
  • Advanced knowledge of one or more technology controls / security domains, disciplines and practices
  • Proficient to advanced knowledge of organization, technology controls / security/ risk issues
  • Document internal processes and make periodic updates to existing documentation
  • Continuously enhance knowledge / expertise in own area
  • Keep current on emerging trends / developments and grow knowledge of the business, analytical tools and techniques


Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Information security certification / accreditation an asset
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience


Preferred Qualifications :
  • Skills to identify, assess, and monitor technology risks including information security, cyber security, resilience, operations/change management quality, data quality/security, and IT compliance.
  • Strong critical thinking - ability to decompose complex issues into manageable pieces.
  • Knowledge of enterprise tools (Archer, JIRA, PowerBI) is preferred
  • Ability to articulate ideas, share experiences and skills.
  • Firm commitment to staying informed/abreast of emerging cyber and information security issues, industry trends.
  • Strength in prioritizing and managing your own workload to deliver quality results and meet timelines with limited guidance from management.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in the areas of technology, information and cyber security, risk management and governance.
  • High flexibility and are comfortable working in a fluid, changing environment.
  • Strong communication, written and presentation skills.
