Full Job Description
Senior Financial Analyst

This role will focus on analyzing and preparing financial data related to revenue and gross margin. You will work closely with international teams to ensure accurate allocation of revenues and costs, assess their impact on gross margins, and provide actionable insights to improve profitability. This position is crucial for driving informed financial decision-making across the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare revenue and cost allocations for the international divisions.
  • Develop strong partnerships with the international accounting team.
  • Calculate Franchise calculations accurately and efficiently.
  • Update and maintain data sources which support the demand planning process.
  • Manage and update the master product database.
  • Assist with domestic revenue and cost allocations.
  • Support the analysis of channels and brands performance, providing insights to identify areas for improvement.
  • Facilitate the analysis of operating expenses by comparing budgeted vs. actual results.
  • Provide support to departments international and domestic departments and handle ad hoc requests.
  • Identify trends and provide insights to improve cost efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a corporate accounting or finance environment.
  • Strong Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups and other advanced formulas. Experience with Power BI a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Understanding of accounting, budgeting and financial statement principles, concepts, and analysis.
  • Knowledge of cost accounting principles and financial reporting a plus.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Great Plains and SAP experience a plus

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree required. 2+ years related experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively and professionally with other business departments, guests, and vendors. Ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people, while exhibiting a consistent level of professionalism. Ability to speak and write in Chinese, strongly preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for 2-4 hours at a time, type, reach, manipulate computer and phone systems, talk and hear. Must be able to sit for extended periods of time during international travel (possibly 16 hours or more). The employee must be able to stand 1-2 hours at a time. The employee frequently is required to use hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects and phones. The employee must be able to lift 15-20 lbs. Must have visual acuity.
