POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Financial Analyst - Revenue Assurance holds a critical role focused on preparing and interpreting financial reports and driving insights that improve financial performance, while also assessing the portfolio to identify and resolve revenue gaps. The incumbent partners with field business partners, finance, revenue management, and corporate leadership to support the monthly close and operating review cadence, budget and forecast processes, pricing and growth initiatives, and to design, document, and implement process improvements that strengthen revenue integrity.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:- Financial reporting & analysis: Prepare and deliver recurring and ad hoc financial reports supporting monthly close, leadership/board reporting, and internal requests.
- Forecasting & modeling: Build and maintain forecasts, budgets, and financial models; analyze results versus plan and communicate key drivers and variances to senior leadership.
- Business partnership: Partner with field leaders, Finance, Revenue Management, and corporate teams to address issues, support initiatives, and align to company goals.
- Operating reviews & presentations: Support monthly reviews through report development, presentation updates, and performance summaries for leadership discussion.
- Revenue assurance & investigations: Analyze complex data, investigate variances and revenue leakage, and support internal and external reporting needs as required.
- Process, tools & improvement: Design and enhance processes, controls, and analytics; contribute to cross-functional projects that improve reporting, forecasting, and revenue assurance capabilities.
- Portfolio analytics: Analyze revenue to identify problems and opportunities for improvement.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.
QUALIFICATIONS: - Advanced Excel proficiency, including financial modeling, pivot tables, charts, macros, and complex formulas; experience with Power Query/Power Pivot and SQL.
- Strong financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning skills with the ability to interpret and communicate financial results.
- Proven problem-solving ability, including synthesizing large, complex datasets from multiple sources.
- Experience leading complex financial analyses and projects
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate accounting and finance concepts into clear business insights.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience with revenue assurance, revenue management, finance, accounting, auditing, billing, pricing, or related experience.
