POSITION SUMMARY:  The Manager Fleet Operations Electric Vehicles supports electric vehicle uptime management, maintenance processes, and training support required to achieve Republic Services' Electric Vehicle and emerging fleet technology strategies. The incumbent supports the deployment of electric vehicles and other fleet technical initiatives undertaken by the team, ensuring durability and the achievement of expected business benefits.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support Republic Services' Electric Vehicle and new Fleet technology strategies across the organization.

• Develop, implement, and monitor key performance indicators for electric and ICE vehicle operations.

• Collaborate with site personnel, contractors, engineers, truck OEMs, charger OEMs, infrastructure partners, etc. to maximize electric truck uptime and performance.

• Support delivery of warranty value targets.

• Guide business process resources in the documentation, refinement, and inventory of key field and corporate policies/procedures

• Own electric vehicle fleet uptime and vehicle availability to support daily operations.

• Lead reliability management and execute improvement plans.

• Drive preventive maintenance compliance and consistent execution across electric vehicle assets.

• Manage vehicle status reporting and enterprise-level fleet communications.

• Lead OEM escalations, corrective actions, technical fixes, and retrofit campaigns.

• Facilitate the integration of electric vehicle assets into standard workflows, systems, and field routines.

• Support advance technician readiness, and field execution supports

• Maintain and operationalize electric vehicle troubleshooting/documentation for service and repair.

• May include up to 25% travel.

• Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 5 years of program management preferred.

• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.

• Experience in continuous improvement through the implementation of best practices.

• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.

• Basic understanding of business finance, metrics, and vehicle development.

• Fleet operations or electric vehicle experience preferred.

• Proficient in MS Office suite of tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

• Minimum 3 years of program management experience.

• Proficient in MS Office suite of tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

This position is a hybrid role based at Republic Service's headquarters in Phoenix, AZ. Hybrid is 4-days per week onsite, and 1-day remote. This position will not be eligible to be fully remote.
