Full Job Description
Candidate will support the day-to-day operation, reliability, and performance of a highly available enterprise network environment. This role will focus on proactive monitoring, incident resolution, advanced troubleshooting, infrastructure maintenance, and collaboration across technical teams to maintain dependable network services.

Required Qualifications of the Sr. Network Administrator - Palo Alto:
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in network operations, network administration, infrastructure support, or a related environment.
  • Experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure in a 24x7 operational setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex network incidents and service disruptions.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise network monitoring, maintenance, and infrastructure support.
  • Experience with Palo Alto firewalls, F5 load balancers, Cisco ACI, SolarWinds, Cisco Catalyst Center, and Nexus Insights.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, prioritization, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple operational priorities while remaining effective during critical incidents and outages.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with engineering, security, infrastructure, and application support teams.

Preferred Skills/Experience of the Sr. Network Administrator - Palo Alto:
  • 8+ years of experience supporting enterprise network and infrastructure environments.
  • Experience with large-scale, highly available network architectures.
  • Experience leading operational initiatives, major incident response, or infrastructure enhancement efforts.
  • Familiarity with Ansible, GitHub, and ThousandEyes.
  • Experience developing and maintaining technical procedures, runbooks, and operational documentation.

Responsibilities of the Sr. Network Administrator - Palo Alto:
  • Perform routine infrastructure health checks and validate the operational status of network environments.
  • Monitor network availability, performance, utilization, and capacity while proactively identifying potential issues.
  • Investigate and resolve network incidents, outages, service requests, and break-fix issues using advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
  • Implement approved network changes in accordance with established change-control and operational procedures.
  • Support network backup and recovery activities, compliance remediation, and ongoing infrastructure maintenance.
  • Partner with cross-functional technology teams to restore services, improve reliability, document solutions, and support continuous operational improvement.

Work Location: Hybrid/partial onsite schedule with the team working onsite Tuesday through Thursday in Columbia, SC.
