Full Job Description
Independently and in a mentoring capacity determine working interests and burdens associated with interests based on title analysis; create and maintain revenue decks; maintain joint interest billing decks; ensure the alignment of interests in Well Master, JVA and PRA; support owner relations inquiries for area of responsibility; analyze oil and gas leases and determine the impact certain provisions will have on royalty payments and corresponding Division Order obligations; recognize and develop solutions for non-routine complex ownership issues and payments.

Essential Roles & Responsibilities
  • Answer inquiries from other departments, companies and interest owners
  • Create and maintain revenue decks
  • Maintain JIB decks
  • Review and approve new wells setups for DOA II
  • Ensure alignment of Company interest between systems of record (Well Master/JVA/PRA)
  • Process pay code changes and ownership transfers
  • Review and execute transfers as part of Second Set of Eyes process
  • Support owner relations inquiries for area of responsibility
  • Ensure thorough and accurate compliance with contract terms and obligations
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to lower level Division Order Analysts
  • Partner with leadership for workload distribution, project planning, and data integrity within asset area
  • Serve as lead point of contact for asset area for internal and external stakeholders
  • Continually research, interpret and deliver relevant and necessary information to perform operations
  • Support leadership in reviewing processes for efficiency and potential improvement
  • Demonstrates behaviors in alignment with SM's Leadership Competency Model
  • Establish and cultivate strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Conduct business with the highest ethical standards; demonstrate decision-making skills that ensure the safety of all persons associated with SM facilities
  • Other duties as assigned

Computer/Software Applications

Demonstrates proficient understanding of Office/PC skills and effective use of Microsoft Office applications and the ability to make effective use of company & industry specific software. Expert understanding of PRA, JVA and Well Master.

Role-Specific Technical Knowledge & Skills

Advanced understanding of title, types of ownership and conveyance instruments. Expert understanding of asset related state laws and regulations. Advanced knowledge of lease and contract provisions and company application thereof. Expert understanding of company acreage reporting policy and procedures.
