ROLE SUMMARY
As a key member of the Value & Access Leadership Team, the Senior Director of Pricing, Contracting, and Operations is a team leader with responsibility for developing strategies involving Pricing and Contracting for current and future launches, future pipeline products, as well as operational Pricing and Contracting functions for our portfolio of products. This position will develop and implement pricing and contracting strategies based on clinical and economic evidence, value proposition generation, and primary and secondary research insights as well as Payer Behavior and formulary placement.
RESPONSIBILITIES
This role will inevitably grow and adapt as priorities change, but will likely include many or all the following responsibilities:
• Develop US market pricing and contracting strategies to provide appropriate and financially sound patient access to our product portfolio.
• Utilize and interpret payer insights, value evidence and other relevant resources to formulate appropriate pricing strategies.
• Utilize qualitative and quantitative analyses in the review of complex business proposals, business model development, influence/impact reviews and decision drivers within the US commercial and government payer segment as well as other channel customers (specialty pharmacy and distribution, GPO, Wholesale, Retail) that may arise while securing patient access to our portfolio of assets.
• Develop pricing, value and access scenarios to address market evolution, guideline changes, new diagnostic tests, competitive launches and pipeline opportunities to ensure product access is sustainable across key US payer archetypes, including Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs)
• Develop governance process and model to support and manage pricing and contracting decisions, including a pricing committee and all relevant SOPs.
• Monitor contract performance over time and communicate progress to relevant internal stakeholders.
• Implement list price changes in accordance with all applicable state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with across the Value & Access Team and with other Zydus divisions (as needed) for the seamless development and implementation of pricing and contracting efforts.
• Ensure compliance with all State Price Transparency Reporting requirements
• Lead a team responsible for the analysis and implementation of US contracting strategies.
• Act as a strong and visible leader in the importance of good business conduct and adherence with applicable laws, regulations, rules and codes
Requirements
• Minimum of 10 years of pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience in managed care, pricing, contracting or account management (combination acceptable).
• Proficiency in pharmaceutical pricing dynamics, including government pricing implications.
• Experience developing and implementing contracting strategies for specialty drug launches.
• Strong familiarity with US market access landscape, including various payer types and models
• Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
• Experience developing and recommending pricing and contracting models impacting GTN and other product and corporate financial measures
• Experience in people management
• Product launch experience highly preferred
• Career path that exhibits increased responsibility and leadership
• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree highly preferred
• Ideally has therapeutic experience in liver, metabolic and/or cardiovascular disease
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
The position will require some domestic travel (~10%).

This is an office-based position, located in our office in Pennington, NJ.
Salary Description
300,000 - 320,000
