This leader will define and execute the strategy required to sustain double-digit growth, expand market leadership, improve profitability, and ensure Spark continues to be a primary growth engine for Envista.

The role goes beyond traditional product management. The leader is accountable for business performance, portfolio strategy, innovation roadmap, commercialization, regional revenue landing, digital workflow evolution, and future growth platforms across aligners, hybrid treatment, treatment planning software and adjacent orthodontic solutions.

The successful candidate will operate with a general management mindset, deep orthodontic domain expertise, strong commercial instincts, and the ability to build a high-performing team and bench. This role is intended for a leader who can grow into broader enterprise responsibility over time.

Strategic Mandate

  • Sustain long-term double-digit growth for Spark while improving business discipline, market share and profitability.
  • Define what comes next beyond today's Spark aligner business, including hybrid treatment, digital workflow, software-enabled treatment planning and adjacent growth opportunities.
  • Build the capabilities required to compete effectively against aggressive global challengers, including high-growth aligner competitors.
  • Turn clinical workflow insight into differentiated products, services and software offerings that create durable customer value.
  • Develop a strong leadership bench and resource model capable of scaling the business globally.

Business Leadership & Growth

  • Own global Spark business performance including revenue growth, market share expansion, profitability, forecast quality and portfolio strategy.
  • Develop and execute multi-year growth strategies that sustain Spark as a major growth engine for Ormco and Envista.
  • Lead annual strategic planning, investment prioritization and operating reviews for the Spark business.
  • Partner with regional commercial teams and Business Development Managers to convert global strategy into landed regional revenue.
  • Establish clear KPIs, targets and operating rhythm for Spark and broader DSBU performance.

Innovation & Future Growth Platforms

  • Identify, evaluate and incubate future growth platforms beyond today's core aligner business.
  • Shape the future roadmap across Spark aligners, digital workflow, treatment planning software and adjacent orthodontic offerings.
  • Translate emerging customer needs, technology trends and market shifts into commercially viable innovation opportunities.
  • Demonstrate and apply a track record of disruptive innovation launches that achieved meaningful commercial success.
  • Build business cases for new platforms, partnerships and investments that can create sustainable growth over the next 5 to 10 years.

Software, Digital Workflow & Treatment Planning

  • Define the strategic role of software and treatment planning capabilities within the future Ormco workflow ecosystem.
  • Partner with R&D, software teams, clinical teams and external partners to accelerate software-enabled differentiation.
  • Evaluate where Ormco should own, partner or acquire capabilities across software, AI, automation, clinical decision support, treatment planning and workflow integration.
  • Ensure digital releases, clinical training, regulatory readiness, marketing and commercialization are aligned to customer value creation.
  • Use workflow insight to reduce clinician friction, improve practice efficiency and increase adoption.

Orthodontic Domain & Customer Insight

  • Bring deep understanding of orthodontic workflows, clinician decision-making, treatment planning, practice economics and product adoption drivers.
  • Continuously translate VOC, KOL feedback, clinical evidence and regional market insight into portfolio and roadmap decisions.
  • Build differentiated value propositions for orthos, GP/DSO customers and strategic accounts.
  • Partner with Scientific Affairs, Clinical Affairs and Professional Education to strengthen credibility and customer engagement.

Commercial Partnerships, M&A & Ecosystem Strategy

  • Evaluate commercial partnerships, technology partnerships, licensing opportunities and M&A targets that could accelerate growth or strengthen workflow control.
  • Partner with corporate development, strategy and regional leaders to assess external opportunities and integration requirements.
  • Develop ecosystem strategies that balance Ormco-owned capabilities with partner-enabled solutions.

Team, Talent & Resource Leadership

  • Build, coach and retain a high-performing global business team with clear accountabilities and operating cadence.
  • Demonstrate strong eyes for talent, build a leadership bench and create succession options for critical roles.
  • Deploy people, budget and functional resources efficiently and effectively against the highest-value growth opportunities.
  • Create a culture of accountability, customer focus, innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Influence cross-functional partners without direct authority while maintaining strong enterprise relationships.
