What you'll be doing

Our Technology team builds and supports the capabilities that help drive CIBC forward. We are seeking a Sr Consultant, Solution Designer with deep expertise in Microsoft technologies to design, build, and deliver enterprise-scale applications within Azure. The ideal candidate combines hands-on software development with solution architecture experience and is comfortable leading technical design, mentoring developers, and working closely with business and technology stakeholders.

How you'll succeed
  • Solution Design & Architecture - Lead the design of enterprise applications and technology solutions that are scalable, secure, highly available, and aligned to business and enterprise standards.
  • Application Development - Develop and implement modern solutions using C#, .NET, Microsoft Azure, RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecture patterns.
  • Integration & Automation - Design and build integrations with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Graph APIs, and create business process automation solutions using Power Automate and the Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Reporting & Insights - Develop reporting and analytics capabilities using Power BI to support business decision-making and operational visibility.
  • Collaboration & Delivery - Partner with architects, product owners, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to deliver technology solutions across the software development lifecycle.
  • Technical Leadership - Produce architecture and design documentation, provide implementation guidance, conduct code reviews, and mentor development teams on best practices and standards.


Who you are
  • You can demonstrate experience for at least 10+ years of software development experience, including designing and delivering enterprise-grade applications and cloud-based solutions, with C#, .NET, Microsoft Azure, RESTful APIs, microservices, event-driven architecture, Microsoft Graph API, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365, Azure DevOps, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and Microsoft Entra ID. It's an asset if you have experience with Power Automate, Microsoft Power Platform, and Power BI.
