Full Job Description
The Sr. Construction Project Manager is responsible for successful completion of highly complex projects in accordance with established project requirements. This role serves as a principal decision maker and coordinates between all project stakeholders, internally and externally.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Successfully manage multiple highly complex projects from sales booking to project closeout
  • Develop and maintain project plan in accordance with project requirements and customer expectations
  • Provide strategic direction to project team to ensure successful completion of project plan
  • Coordinate with project team to determine potential value engineering opportunities
  • Generate detailed bid packages for vendors and award subcontracts to qualified vendor
  • Develop and deliver project progress reports
  • Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project teams, vendors and subcontractors
  • Seek opportunities to increase project value through relationships with external project team
  • Proactively identify and manage potential project risk
  • Maintain and grow existing customer relationships, including winning additional/future work
  • Oversee daily project management functions
  • Other duties as assigned


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in construction or related industry
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing and construction processes
  • Knowledge of general business practice, building codes, and engineering principles
  • Ability to travel up to 25% within North America


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Lean manufacturing experience
