Job Description:POSITION SUMMARY- Lead the architecture, build, and operations of AWS network infrastructure aligned with the Well-Architected Framework, collaborating across engineering, IT, platform, cloud architecture, data science, and global infrastructure teams.
- Own AWS network deployments via Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/LZA), including VPCs, Transit Gateway attachments, routing, firewall rules, and large-scale network design initiatives such as East-West traffic models and Inspection VPCs.
- Drive cloud network security strategy and implementation, leading configuration and governance of Prisma Cloud, Tenable, WAF, CrowdStrike, and related controls in close partnership with security teams.
- Design and operate scalable network observability and logging pipelines, including log ingestion, alerting, monitoring, and proactive incident detection across environments.
- Partner with engineering, QA, product teams, and third-party vendors to deploy secure, automated application stacks that meet network standards and future-state cloud architecture.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship, conducting code reviews, guiding junior and mid-level engineers, and setting best practices for quality, security, and automation.
- Lead infrastructure initiatives end-to-end, managing planning, execution, agile delivery, and stakeholder communication while driving continuous improvement in operational efficiency and reliability.
DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: - 6+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure or DevOps, with a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Networking, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Deep hands-on expertise in AWS networking and governance, including VPCs, Subnets, Transit Gateway, routing, firewall management, Security Groups, IPAM, Load Balancers, IAM, AWS Config, and AWS Landing Zone Accelerator.
- Proven experience operating and designing large-scale, globally distributed cloud environments, with the ability to troubleshoot complex hybrid cloud networking issues.
- Strong cloud security engineering background, including risk assessment, remediation, and implementation of cloud guardrails using SCPs, IAM policies, Security Groups, and network controls.
- Advanced infrastructure automation and IaC skills, with demonstrated passion and proficiency using Terraform and CloudFormation to build secure, scalable cloud platforms.
- Experience with modern application platforms and delivery pipelines, including Kubernetes, Docker, containers, ArgoCD, Git, CI/CD systems, and YAML-based configurations.
- Strong systems and engineering fundamentals, including Linux, networking, storage, operating systems, and experience leveraging AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Kiro, or equivalent) to improve productivity and automation.

COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position is $130,000.00 - $160,000.00. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
