Full Job Description
Torch Technologies, a 100% employee-owned business, is seeking a Sr. Analyst - Space and High Altitude (SHA) to support the Space and Missile Defense Center of Excellence (SMDCoE). This role focuses on the development and integration of Space and High Altitude (SHA) capabilities across Army and DoD domains, supporting requirements development, concept planning, studies, and stakeholder coordination. The Senior Space and High-Altitude Analyst will provide advanced analytical and technical support to projects involving training, tactical/operational documentation, military systems design or other efforts requiring military operations expertise. As a Senior Space and High-Altitude Analyst your duties will include the following, but are not limited to: - Lead and support SHA capability development across Army and DoD organizations - Provide advanced analytical and technical support on efforts involving training, documentation, and military systems - Develop and staff Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) documents - Conduct gap analyses, assess urgent operational needs, and facilitate technical interchange meetings (TIMs) - Plan and support studies, tests, exercises, and training events in support of SHA objectives - Collaborate with government stakeholders to ensure integration with multidomain and joint operations - Represent Warfighter interests in coordination with material developers and government partners - Research, identify, and recommend emergent technologies and resources to improve current capabilities - Assist in writing and updating project documentation, including procedures, training materials, and presentations - Maintain awareness of relevant technologies, operational practices, and emerging military needs Required Qualifications: - U.S. Citizen - Former military background with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in an Operations Analyst role within military or defense environments. OR - Bachelor's degree + 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in an Operations Analyst role within military or defense environments - Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility - Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills - Familiarity with Army Space Operations and Space and High Altitude (SHA) capabilities (highly desired) - Knowledge and/or experience in one or more of the following: - Space Superiority (highly desired) - Counter Surveillance & Reconnaissance - Electromagnetic Warfare - Navigation Warfare - High Altitude Platforms - Targeting - DOTMLPF-P gap analysis - Concept of Operations (CONOPS) development - Warfighter/Wargaming/TTX Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Engineering, Science, National Security, or a military discipline). Additional years of directly related military or analytical experience may substitute for a degree - Former U.S. Army or Marine Corps Infantry, Artillery, Cavalry, Combat Engineer, or Special Operations officer, warrant officer, or NCO preferred U.S. Citizenship Required for this Position: Yes Job Type: Regular Full-time Security Clearance: TS Schedule: M-F; 8-5 Work Location: Onsite: Colorado Springs, CO Travel: Yes, 0-15% Relocation Assistance Available: No Position Contingent Upon Award of Contract: No Salary range: $120,000- $140,000 The salary range information is general guidelines only.
