What You'll Be DoingAs the Sr. Analyst, Fund Administration, you will play a critical role in overseeing fund valuations, capital activity, pricing, audit coordination, and tax compliance for our sponsored funds. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive investor relationship support, facilitating both internal and external audits, and ensuring the timely completion of the fund's annual tax obligations. Your role will involve proactively identifying and resolving operational issues, implementing effective controls, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. You will also contribute to a variety of special projects and ad hoc assignments as needed.

How You'll Succeed- Process capital and pricing updates for alternative asset investments.
- Support the management and enhancement of operational procedures and controls within the Operations team.
- Proactively identify, resolve, and document operational issues while implementing robust controls.
- Train and mentor junior analysts, fostering knowledge sharing and team development.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on fund administration and operational functions for the firm.
- Review quarterly and monthly valuations for all sponsored funds.
- Coordinate, review, and support the completion of all audit and tax reporting requirements.
- Oversee the preparation and review of annual investor K-1s and fund tax returns.
- Assist in the review of subscription agreements and redemption requests, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Support the oversight and management of key vendors associated with the sponsored funds.
- Participate in various ad hoc assignments and new projects to drive operational excellence.
Who You Are- You hold a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business.
- You have strong knowledge of alternative investments, security analysis, and industry-related best practices.
- You have 5-7 years of experience in Fund Administration, Tax Accounting, or Audit and Accounting, specifically with hedge funds or private equity funds.
- You demonstrate advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer literacy.
- You possess hands-on experience with Hedge Funds and Private Equity Funds.
- You exhibit excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- You have exceptional analytical and organizational abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- You thrive in a collaborative team environment and maintain a positive, professional attitude.
- You are adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- You have prior experience supporting investor relations activities.
At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of
$85,000 - $125,000K for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit's incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
