Full Job Description
The impact you will have:

As a Senior Analyst, FP&A, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial planning, analysis, and reporting initiatives to support strategic decision-making and will leverage your expertise and analytical strengths to drive our vision for rapid growth to cement our position as a top-tier technology partner.

You will work closely with business partners and senior executives to provide fact-based analysis and a rigorous approach to strategic decision making. You will provide financial analysis, annual financial planning and short- and long-term forecasting with speed, accuracy and relevancy.

You will also establish best practices, implement standards and elevate the performance and output of your extended team. You will champion the adoption of AI to automate manual and repetitive FP&A tasks, freeing the team to focus on higher-value analysis and strategic insight.

This role is hybrid with the expectation of working in the Toronto office 1-2 times per month.

What you will do:

  • Financial Modeling: Full ownership of robust financial models to support strategic business decisions, annual planning, and monthly forecasting.
  • Collaboration: Maintain effective relationships with key internal business partners to ensure alignment with strategic objectives through input gathering, assumption assessment, and variance analysis.
  • P&L Management: Review and analyze P&L results versus forecast and plan, providing detailed insights to guide business decisions.
  • Reporting: Prepare PowerPoint slides for financial reporting, visualizing data, and financial metrics in an easy-to-understand manner for executive leadership.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct regular and ad-hoc financial analysis to provide insight into the business's performance and inform business decisions.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for enhancing accuracy and efficiency in financial operations, in collaboration with senior Finance staff, leadership team, and key stakeholders.
  • AI-Powered Automation: Leverage AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot and Claude, to automate repetitive and manual FP&A tasks such as data compilation, variance commentary, report generation, and presentation preparation. Proactively identify use cases where AI can improve the speed and quality of financial outputs.
  • Other: Requires some extended hours during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end. Act as a trusted advisor to senior management by providing ad-hoc financial analyses, scenario modelling and decision support to drive operational efficiencies.


What you will bring to the table:

  • 5+ years of financial analysis experience with FP&A experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Professional Designation Required (CFA, CPA, or MBA)
  • Ability to interpret complex financial data, uncover reasons for financial trends, and provide insightful financial analysis.
  • Strong financial modeling skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Hyperion experience an asset.
  • Working knowledge of AI productivity tools, including Microsoft Copilot and Claude, with demonstrated ability to apply them to automate manual workflows, generate financial commentary, and improve the efficiency of FP&A processes. Curiosity and aptitude to explore new AI use cases as the technology evolves.
  • Excellent written and verbal abilities to effectively present financial information.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with a strong sense of accountability, integrity and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs while maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality in deliverables.


Compensation:

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position in is $76,000 - $102,000 annually + 10% Target Incentives.

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, education, and related certification. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.
