About the role. As a champion of McCain's Winning Culture , the Senior Advisor, Organizational Development is responsible for executing programs and initiatives that strengthen organizational capability, performance, employee experience across North America. Working closely with HR, business leaders, and cross-functional teams, this role supports the delivery and adoption of key Organizational Development priorities. Through effective program management, facilitation, communications, and stakeholder engagement, this role helps build a culture of continuous improvement, growth, and high performance.
What you'll be doing. Overall:- Update programs, resources, and experiences that strengthen organizational capability and employee effectiveness, with a focus on performance, capabilities, recognition, wellbeing, Ways of Working, and AI adoption.
- Execute and support Organizational Development initiatives that enhance employee engagement, manager effectiveness, collaboration, and business performance across corporate and plant-based populations.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, business leaders, HR teams, and external vendors (as needed) to ensure successful delivery and adoption of programs.
- Partner with communications, learning resources, toolkits, and enablement materials that drive capability building and support behavior change.
- Monitor participation, engagement, and program effectiveness, leveraging data and employee feedback to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Provide ongoing administration, coordination, and continuous improvement of Organizational Development programs, processes, and employee experience initiatives in support of business and culture goals.
Improve Speed & Effectiveness through Ways of Working & AI- Drive adoption of Ways of Working tools and training across NA and support executing the strategy
- Embed Ways of Working tools and AI into existing programs
- Work with the Global Future of Work team to build training solutions and a capability uplift in memo writing and decision making, amplifying global tools and leveraging AI
- Develop and deploy the Ways of Working Catalyst structure in all NA functions
- Partner with leaders and HRBPs to leverage Ways of Working methodology to accelerate high impact cross functional initiatives
- Support the rollout of enterprise AI learning curriculum and adoption across NA, amplifying centrally-developed content and enabling teams to build practical AI capability
Enhance Commercial and Performance Development Capabilities- Support the development of the North America Commercial Academy, partnering with Commercial HR and L&D lead on identified deliverables as defined
- Deploy training, communications, toolkits, and AI-enabled resources that improve the quality and consistency of performance and real conversations.
- Facilitate learning sessions and support change management activities to drive adoption of performance management practices and a culture of accountability and continuous development.
Strengthen Engagement, Wellbeing & Belonging Across McCain NA- Partner with key stakeholders to assess current recognition programs and practices across plants and salaried employees and build a consistent recognition approach across North America
- Coordinate and execute quarterly wellbeing activations aligned to McCain's four wellbeing pillars.
- Support the delivery of the Safe Spaces program by managing logistics, vendor coordination, communications, and participant experience across offices, plants, and pilot groups.
- Maintain and update wellbeing resources, including plant wellbeing toolkits and Living Well SharePoint content.
- Incorporate wellbeing messaging and resources into employee engagement, learning, leadership, and talent initiatives, where appropriate.
- Track participation, gather stakeholder feedback, and report on program effectiveness to support continuous improvement of engagement, wellbeing, and belonging initiatives.
What you'll need to be successful. - Post-secondary education in Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Learning, Talent, or Employee Experience, with a proven ability to execute high-impact culture, performance, capability, and engagement initiatives.
- Demonstrated success translating strategy into action through the implementation of programs
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills preferred, with experience leading workshops and training sessions
- Experience designing and developing learning materials, toolkits, communications, presentations, and training resources using instructional design principles.
- Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence across all levels of the organization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences and channels.
- Proven project management skills, including planning, coordination, execution, and measurement of multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Results-oriented, highly organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
- A collaborative mindset, creative problem-solving skills, and a passion for enhancing employee experience and organizational effectiveness.
Compensation Package : $81,600.00 - $108,900.00 . CAD annual base salary equivalency, paid in alignment to contract term
