Full Job Description
SUMMARY

Echo Neurotechnologies is developing novel Brain Computer Interface (BCI) products for people living with disabilities to restore autonomy and improve quality of life. We are seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to own core accounting operations and support a timely, accurate close and audit-ready environment. This role is hands-on and operational, with responsibility across accounts payable, inventory and purchasing support, monthly close activities, balance sheet integrity, and compliance processes including sales and use tax. The ideal candidate is a strong operator with NetSuite experience who is comfortable working on-site in a fast-growing environment.

PRIMARY ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Own and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, including preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, fixed assets, prepaids, and supporting schedules
  • Maintain strong balance sheet reconciliation discipline and documentation to support internal and external audits
  • Prepare audit schedules and serve as a primary accounting contact during audits
  • Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, coding, approvals, payment runs, and vendor management
  • Support purchase order workflows and ensure proper matching of POs, receipts, and invoices
  • Partner with operations and supply chain teams to support inventory accounting and tracking
  • Maintain the fixed asset register, including capitalization, depreciation, transfers, and disposals
  • Manage prepaid expense schedules and ensure accurate period recognition
  • Manage sales and use tax compliance, including data gathering, filings, and coordination with external providers or advisors
  • Support ongoing monitoring of taxability and nexus considerations
  • Utilize NetSuite for day-to-day accounting operations, reporting, and close activities
  • Support improvements to accounting processes, controls, and documentation as the company scales
  • Support accounting and tracking for grant-funded activities, including cost allowability, reporting, and audit readiness
