Job Title: Sr. Account Manager

Working Pattern: Full-Time

Working location: Mankato, MN/Hybrid - 2 Office Days/Week

Relocation assistance will be provided if applicable.

Position Summary

We are seeking an individual who enjoys building relationships and helping customers succeed in the fast-growing data center, mission critical and power generation markets. You will be the day-to-day point of contact for your accounts. You will play a key role in supporting projects and driving growth in our business.

What you will be doing
  • Build strong relationships and serve as the primary contact for assigned customer accounts, understanding their needs and guiding them to the right solutions.
  • Manage the quoting process, including specification review, pricing, and collaboration with sales, engineering, and business development teams.
  • Process new orders, approve change order requests, and ensure seamless order management and cross-functional communication.
  • Identify revenue growth opportunities, develop sales plans, and track progress using CRM tools while keeping customers informed throughout their projects.
  • Provide training, conduct presentations, and contribute market feedback to product development and continuous improvement initiatives.


Basic Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field + 4 years' experience working in a customer facing environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field + 2 years' experience working in a customer facing environment.
  • Master's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • JD/PhD in Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • In lieu of degree, 6+ years of experience working in a customer facing role.
  • In order to be eligible for consideration, you must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent. Resident Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S without sponsorship. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.


Preferred Requirements:
  • Sales Training and/or EGSA Training.
  • Proficient in CRM and Quote Management systems for tracking sales opportunities and managing the sales funnel.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, including interpreting technical documents, writing reports, and business correspondence.
  • Strong ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from individuals or groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
