Description:

Specialty Pharmacist- Full-Time Rotating shifts

Position Summary
  • Leads daily dispensing operations and ensures safe, accurate, and compliant preparation, compounding, verification, and fulfillment of prescriptions. Applies advanced clinical judgment, operational expertise, and strong leadership to maintain high-quality pharmacy services, support clinical care, and uphold regulatory excellence across all specialty pharmacy functions.
  • Oversees end-to-end dispensing operations with precise preparation, compounding, labeling, and fulfillment of prescriptions. Conducts rigorous prospective clinical reviews, including screening for medication appropriateness, drug interactions, allergies, and therapeutic duplication.
  • Provides professional oversight and direction to pharmacy technicians and interns, ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient task execution.
  • Serves as a primary operational resource with comprehensive knowledge of staff roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations. Proactively resolves operational challenges and delivers real-time feedback to sustain effective workflows.
  • Leads resolution of third-party payer rejections and ensures accurate claim adjudication, serving as the subject-matter expert for reimbursement workflows.

This position will be located at 1129 Westchester Ave, White Plains, NY.

Salary Range:

$163,500-$197,000/Annual
