Full Job Description

The Marketing organization is seeking an innovative and strategic Performance Marketing expert to drive global membership growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and executing successful paid social campaigns that align with overarching marketing growth goals. This role requires a strong analytical mind to evaluate performance metrics, optimize ROAS, and unlock new opportunities through a collaborative test-and-learn approach. We need a data-savvy professional who excels in stakeholder management, partners effectively with creative teams, and enhances relationships with acquisition partners to deliver high-quality impressions and added value. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Own, execute, and regularly optimize performance marketing campaigns across main paid social channels.

  • Deliver strong business impact (e.g. revenue, growth, and ROAS) across all key markets, contributing to Netflix's membership growth goals. 

  • Lead the end-to-end execution of performance marketing campaigns, including managing timelines, deliverables, and communications to stakeholders. 

  • Manage relationships with regional stakeholders, delivering best-in-class partnerships that drive globally successful campaigns.

  • Partner with Brand, Product Marketing, Consumer Insights, and Country Marketers to ensure the delivery of high-quality, legally-compliant creative to potential members. 

  • Collaborate with partner teams across growth strategy, marketing, finance, and DSE to unlock new channels and scale performance marketing activities. Assist in translating campaign/test results into clear, concise, visual, and exec-friendly memos and decks.

  • Streamline ad operations, including partnering with platform reps to set up campaigns, upload creative into the platforms, build and QA ads, and set the ads live.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of implementing successful customer acquisition strategies and managing KPIs in the entertainment industry or other fast-paced subscription-led businesses.

  • In-depth experience in managing paid social performance marketing campaigns, with a strong ability to balance effort vs. return to maximize impact. 

  • Proven ability in testing and scaling new performance marketing channels and initiatives to drive incremental reach and results.

  • Comfortable building campaigns and ads in platforms’ “Ads Manager” tools for businesses (e.g. Meta, Google, and TikTok Ads Manager).

  • In-depth understanding of user acquisition algorithms, incremental-based KPIs, and marketing technology (conversion APIs, mobile measurement partners, etc.)

  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication capabilities with the ability to work across both highly technical and highly creative teams in a global environment.

  • Resourceful, endlessly curious, and has a high comfort level independently project managing complex initiatives with many moving parts and stakeholders.

  • Analytical with an ability to craft a clear and concise data-driven narrative.

  • High tolerance for change, and the capacity to accomplish enormous amounts of work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $153,000.00 - $240,000.00.
