Job Description

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Specialist, FX Platform Sales to join our Markets team. This role is located in New York, NY.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Drive adoption and penetration of BNY's Delegated FX solutions by engaging institutional clients on execution needs, workflows, and tailored solution offerings.
  • Manage sales activity with discipline by maintaining opportunity tracking, progressing client engagement, and helping convert qualified outreach into financial opportunities.
  • Contribute to growing share of wallet with priority clients through proactive outreach, commercial follow-up, and clear articulation of BNY's FX platform offering.
  • Use AI and productivity tools to improve sales efficiency, surface opportunities, and support adoption of FX platform solutions.
  • Coordinate with internal business units to gather information needed to inform client outreach and strengthen sales execution.
  • Prepare high-quality client materials, meeting content, and action trackers that help advance commercial opportunities and reinforce client engagement.
  • Apply data-driven insights and analytical rigor to identify emerging market opportunities and optimize client segmentation strategies.
  • Collaborate and influence across diverse stakeholder groups to progress client opportunities, remove execution barriers, and deliver tailored solutions that meet client objectives.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree a plus.
  • 1-2 years of experience in financial services, sales, client coverage, or a related field; experience in securities or financial services is preferred, particularly in FX or institutional sales environments.
  • Demonstrated interest in sales, client engagement, and business development, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Project management skills and experience desired, including exposure to agile practices, backlog management, and stakeholder alignment, though not essential.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to create clear, well-structured materials and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders.

Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee's eligible dependents.
