About the Role

The Specialist - Client Hospitality & Dining is an integral part of Latham's Events, Sponsorships & Travel team. This role will be responsible for supporting small-scale dining, reception or ticketed events, while managing logistics, from initial conception to onsite execution, of small-scale events within a pre-determined budget threshold and specific attendance parameters. This role will be located in our New York office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:
  • Collaborating with other internal support functions to oversee the execution of events with strong attention to detail and a focus on best practices
  • Ensuring goals and objectives of department are met, and ensuring that all tasks and duties completed are done within the firm's set guidelines and policies
  • Proactively coordinating various aspects of the event lifecycle, including planning meetings, checklists, budgets, expense processing, vendor management, onsite and virtual platform management, data management, post-event analysis
  • Keeping consistent and accurate records of market event data for reporting and tracking purposes
  • Curating targeted invitations lists for each event, working closely with stakeholders and e-marketing team
  • Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains
