About the Role

Apex is designing, building, and operating spacecraft at scale and our PLM infrastructure is a critical backbone of how hardware moves from concept to orbit. We're looking for a Teamcenter Administrator to help us mature, maintain, and scale our PLM environment as we expand production in Factory-1 and accelerate development across the Aries and Nova product lines.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer, configure, and maintain Apex's Teamcenter PLM environment to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability across engineering and manufacturing teams.
  • Partner closely with Mechanical, Avionics, Manufacturing, Quality, and Production Engineering to translate business needs into scalable PLM solutions.
  • Customize and optimize workflows, data models, access rules, and UI elements to streamline the release process and support fast hardware iteration.
  • Manage user provisioning, permissions, and security policies, ensuring compliance across programs and facilities.
  • Support day-to-day Teamcenter operations, including troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and resolving user issues quickly to keep hardware flowing.
  • Participate in upgrades, integrations, and expansion projects as Apex continues to grow our software and data infrastructure.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
  • Familiarity with both Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Teamcenter Administrator or similar PLM role.
  • Strong understanding of Teamcenter architecture, data models, workflows, and customization.
  • Proficiency with Teamcenter administration and development tools, including BMIDE, ITK, and SOA.
  • Experience with installations, upgrades, and integrating Teamcenter with upstream/downstream systems.
  • Familiarity with CAD tools such as Siemens NX, SolidWorks, and their PLM integrations.
