Full Job Description
In the role of Southern Idaho Construction Services Lead, we'll count on you to:

  • Take responsibility for operations of field services section including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control, and marketing support.
  • Function as Project Manager and take responsibility for field services on projects in addition to management responsibilities. Take administrative responsibility for section staff and technical service functions and lead and coordinate services with other sections.
  • Responsible for marketing planning, proposals, and interviews.
  • Be directly involved with industrial and public clients in marketing, project production, and related issues.
  • See that all work is planned, organized, controlled, and evaluated through proactive project management system. Implement, monitor, and support company policy.
  • Select, train, develop and manage technical personnel.
  • Manage and develop multidiscipline teams.
  • Work cooperatively with National Directors and marketing staff in local and national marketing and production efforts.
  • Take responsibility for subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and quality control.
  • Prepare the Project Management Plan for construction.
  • Develop procedures for executing construction contract administration including document, change, time, cost, quality, and safety management, and implement procedures in coordination with the project team.
  • Perform additional construction management activities, including performance of constructability and value engineering reviews, construction estimating and schedule reviews, and project construction performance presentations.
  • Coordinate document management. Coordinate and review construction submittals including shop drawings and pay applications.
  • Prepare, issue, and negotiate Change Orders.
  • Review and analyze baseline and updated construction schedules.
  • Control the project budget and coordinate schedule to reflect budgeted work.
  • Coordinate and manage project quality assurance and control, and inspection services.
  • Review subcontractor compliance with the Health and Safety Program through communication and inspections.
  • Prepare and update pay requests, and daily, weekly, and monthly progress, budget, and schedule management reports.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
