The Solutions Architect will be responsible for overseeing the Private Banking domain needs end to end, create solutions that align with current requirements and strategically align to future state

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
• Prepare solution designs and estimate deliverables according to Scotiabank's policies, standards and templates based on business, project and systems specs
• Produce and maintain architectural and design documentations to support Private Banking business needs
• Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts and software architects to plan, design, develop, and maintain different applications
• Closely work with business partners to align on immediate needs and future state requirements.
• Apply innovative approach to developing process improvements and solutions
• Interact with stakeholders to collaborate, align and resolve issues
• Lead the team with a continuous improvement mindset, actively promote inclusivity and trust, promote an environment of curiosity and experimentation
• Ensure all solutions adhere to enterprise architecture principles, regulatory requirements and industry best practises
• Act with urgency and criticality, evaluate problems blockers and bottlenecks, identify actions to be taken, assist the team to recommend/implement solutions

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:
• Bachelor (equivalent or higher) degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years architecture experience in creating and managing enterprise architectures and solutions
• Well-versed in contemporary engineering practices such as cloud computing, microservices, CI/CD, test automation, and DevOps Demonstrated success in delivering complex, highly available platforms serving customers.
• Experience with structured Enterprise Architecture practices, hybrid cloud deployments, and on-premise to cloud migration deployments and roadmaps.
• Experience building, architecting, designing, and implementing highly distributed global based systems.
• Experience in network infrastructure, security, data, or application development.
• Knowledge of technology solutions and ability to learn and work with emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space.
• Outstanding communication, relationship management and problem-solving skills.
• Skilled at balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution
