Full Job Description
What you'll be doing

  • Act as a key stakeholder for the Offer Management, Engineering, and Quality teams, providing expertise in HVAC applications and building controls to support the development of the next generation of room and zone control solutions.
  • Provide technical support to country and commercial teams, including technical sales input, coaching, training, and guidance on effectively positioning our offers and supporting the growth of the portfolio.
  • Provide customer feedback, competitive insights, market requirements, and technical assessments to support offer development and feature definition activities.
  • Partner with Offer Managers to translate market needs into product and feature requirements. Contribute to offer development and portfolio strategy activities, while serving as a key point of contact for new feature requests.
  • Support relationships with key OEM partners and contribute to the development of customized solution opportunities within this specialized go-to-market channel. Provide technical input, assess best-fit solutions, and support solution scoping activities.
  • Support field trials of new solutions through direct collaboration with customers and partners.
  • Contribute to offer rationalization activities for the In-Room Solutions portfolio.


What you bring

  • 10+ years of experience in the HVAC controls industry, supported by strong technical expertise and a deep understanding of the market.
  • Strong knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and associated devices. Experience commissioning or integrating BMS solutions is considered an asset.
  • Solid understanding of the mechanical equipment commonly used in building automation and control environments, including air handling units (AHUs), variable air volume systems (VAVs), fan coil units (FCUs), rooftop units (RTUs), heat pumps, and related HVAC equipment.
  • Knowledge of leading BMS platforms and software such as Niagara, EcoStruxure Building Operation, Metasys, or Desigo, combined with an understanding of the hardware that integrates with these systems, including DDC controllers, thermostats, and wired or wireless sensors. Familiarity with actuators is an asset.
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience.
  • Experience in commercial-facing roles, including sales, sales support, or technical sales. Exposure to presales activities such as system design is considered an asset.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and communicate technical requirements, product capabilities, and value propositions effectively to a variety of audiences.
  • Comfortable operating in a role that combines technical expertise, customer engagement, and support for commercial activities.

The expected pay range is CAD $145,800 - CAD $194,400 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives.
