Position Description:

The Solution Architect - Functional translates complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and resilient solution architectures for large scale enterprise modernization initiatives.

Working closely with Business Analysts, Technical Architects, Engineering teams, Product Owners, and Delivery Leadership, the successful candidate will define solution architectures that integrate business capabilities with modern technology platforms.

This role is part of an AI first software engineering organization where Artificial Intelligence is integrated throughout the software development lifecycle. Candidates must demonstrate practical experience leveraging AI to improve productivity, quality, and delivery outcomes using modern AI assisted development practices.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

.Lead the functional architecture and end to end solution design for complex enterprise applications.
.Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and secure solution architectures.
.Define business capabilities, functional services, system interactions, and end to end process flows.
.Design integration architectures supporting APIs, messaging, event driven services, and legacy interoperability.
.Collaborate with business analysis, technical architecture, engineering, and product teams to ensure alignment throughout delivery.
.Produce and maintain capability models, logical designs, integration specifications, and architecture decision records.
.Promote AI assisted architecture practices and the BMAD framework across the solution lifecycle.
.Support architecture governance, design reviews, and technical decision making throughout the program.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

.10+ years of experience in enterprise solution architecture or senior systems analysis.
.5+ years designing complex enterprise application and integration architectures.
.Strong telecommunications industry experience, including OSS/BSS or similar large scale integration environments.
.Demonstrated experience designing end to end business solutions for enterprise modernization initiatives.
.Strong knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, API first design, event driven systems, and service oriented architectures.
.Experience working with cloud native platforms, with Microsoft Azure experience preferred.
.Demonstrated experience working within AI enabled Software Development Lifecycle (AI SDLC) environments.
.Experience using the Business Model Assisted Development (BMAD) framework or a comparable AI native software delivery methodology.
.Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and DevSecOps principles.
.Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications
.Experience designing highly available, mission critical enterprise platforms.
.Experience integrating legacy platforms with modern cloud native solutions.
.Experience with microservices, container based platforms, and distributed systems.
.TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification.
.Microsoft Azure Architecture or Cloud certifications.
.Experience within highly regulated industries.
.Experience leveraging AI assisted architecture tools to improve solution quality and delivery efficiency.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95,000-$145,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
