Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain system requirements, software architecture, algorithms, interfaces, and overall design for advanced C2 software solutions. Lead software development activities within a scaled Agile framework, leveraging DevSecOps practices to build, integrate, and deploy software components into fully functional systems. Provide technical leadership and direction across product development, including responsibilities as a Product Owner or Technical Lead. Support integration planning and execution while ensuring adherence to development schedules and cost baselines. Collaborate with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to drive structured development and integration approaches. Present progress updates and technical demonstrations to customer representatives and program leadership. Ensure alignment between system performance, customer requirements, and technical execution.

Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, data science, or a related field with 14+ years of experience, or a Bachelor's Degree with 18+ years of directly related experience, or 22+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree. Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance (interim prior to start, final post-start), requiring US citizenship. Minimum 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or software development for space-based or ground-based systems. At least 3+ years of experience leading software development projects. Strong programming experience in Java, C++, or Python. Hands-on experience with Flight Dynamics, Orbital Analysis, Satellite Management Systems, or Ground Control Systems.

Preferred Skills:
Experience serving as a Product Owner or Technical Lead in complex programs. Familiarity with database technologies (SQL/NoSQL), messaging systems such as Kafka or ActiveMQ, and data streaming standards like CCSDS. Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline development using tools like GitLab for automated testing, builds, and deployments. Experience with formal acceptance testing processes including FQT, FAT, and SAT. Active TS/SCI or DoD Top Secret clearance is highly preferred.
