Our Team is seeking a talented
Manufacturing Systems Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems in Huntsville, Alabama.
This position will support all manufacturing locations on implementing alternative solutions for Manufacturing Custom Web Applications, Manufacturing System Evaluation, MES (Manufacturing Execution System) for daily support calls on the system, training, and creation of training and process documentation. The candidate will provide technical expertise and business process knowledge to support the systems of Solumina (MES) and Costpoint (ERP).
Key responsibilities will include the following:
- Document business and system processes for alternative solutions for Manufacturing Custom Web Applications including any data migration requirements and
- Lead training sessions for alternative solutions for Manufacturing Custom Web Applications for user population.
- Provide troubleshooting support to end users in manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, production control, supply chain, and quality engineering to achieve problem resolution on daily requests.
- Support end users by reviewing process documentation on how to use the system for set-up, data creation (BOMs, Routings, etc.), and execution of manufacturing transactions through training sessions one-on-one and with groups.
- Perform system monitoring of progress of MES adoption through data gathering and analysis throughout multiple sites.
BS in Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Supply Chain (or a related field). A minimum of 2 or more years of applicable experience will also satisfy the BS degree requirement.
Analytical ability to quickly learn systems and troubleshoot reported issues.
Strong customer service background supporting system users and leading training sessions for user population.
