Full Job Description
Position Purpose:

The Workforce Management (WFM) IT team builds and operates the applications, integrations, and cloud infrastructure behind Home Depot's enterprise Workforce Management platform (UKG Pro WFM / Dimensions) and its surrounding ecosystem - including internally-built GCP-hosted applications, Data Hub pipelines, and third-party integrations such as Boomi. As a Software Engineer on this team, you'll work across the full stack: building and maintaining application features (UI and backend), configuring and supporting UKG Pro WFM/Dimensions and its integrations, managing the GCP infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines everything runs on, and partnering directly with UKG Support/Engineering to troubleshoot production issues.

Physical Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with workforce management or HR/payroll systems (UKG Pro WFM/Dimensions or Kronos a plus)
  • Exposure to integration platforms (Dell Boomi or similar) and API-based integrations
  • Exposure to SQL and relational/NoSQL database technology, especially in an ETL/data-pipeline context
  • Exposure to front-end frameworks (React/TypeScript or similar) and backend service development
  • Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GKE/Kubernetes, BigQuery, Cloud Armor, CloudSQL, Cloud Load Balancing)
  • Exposure to CI/CD tooling (Spinnaker or similar), containerization (Docker), and source control (Git/GitHub)
  • Exposure to identity/SSO protocols and migrations (SAML/OIDC, PingFederate, Microsoft Entra ID)
  • Exposure to secrets management (HashiCorp Vault, Google Secret Manager)
  • Familiarity with web application security practices (XSS remediation, hardened container images)
  • Comfortable working directly with vendor support/engineering teams to troubleshoot production issues
  • Interest in applying AI-assisted tooling to engineering workflows
