In this role, you'll work across multiple modules within a broader software platform, contributing to both maintenance of existing applications and development of new capabilities. This is a highly visible position with direct exposure to system architecture decisions, integration design, and cross-functional collaboration, plus a clear path to long-term placement for the right fit.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze, design, code, test, configure, and modify software applications and enhancements using a range of programming languages, technologies, and development methodologies
  • Design, develop, test, debug, and implement application and software components, tools, and utilities, including performance testing
  • Implement and test moderately complex fixes for defects in existing software products
  • Support development of new software releases and applications
  • Configure components for cloud-based solutions and strengthen understanding of on-premise and cloud environments
  • Troubleshoot bugs within owned components and execute remediation plans
  • Provide technical support for systems monitoring issues and escalations
  • Review requirements and research alternative technical solutions
  • Work in an agile environment, including peer programming and test-driven development
  • Partner with business analysts to translate requirements into API-led connectivity solutions (integrations, interfaces, proxies, shared code libraries)
  • Design, develop, and support integration solutions using established design patterns and best practices
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to test new and modified application solutions
  • Support other developers with integration, interface, and business object/service design
  • Complete technical documentation covering testing, QA, training, troubleshooting, and installation/maintenance procedures
  • Occasional off-hours work may be required for project needs, upgrades, or system implementations

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (engineering, mathematics, computer science, or business preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience with Oracle SQL, including writing queries, views, and stored procedures for ETL workloads
  • Experience building Autosys jobs, services, and tasks
  • Working knowledge of Unifier and OPPM database table structures
  • Experience with Unifier site administration, Linux server administration, and report building
  • OPPM experience with Windows server administration, front-end forms/dashboards, and user administration
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, including log analysis and system administration tasks
  • Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a large enterprise or utility environment
  • Familiarity with agile development practices and test-driven development
  • Experience with API-led connectivity and integration design patterns
  • Exposure to cloud-based platform migration or hybrid on-prem/cloud environments
