Position Summary
Blukers, Inc. is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our development team and support the development, deployment, and maintenance of our web and mobile applications.
The engineer will work across frontend, backend, mobile, database, and cloud environments and collaborate with development and QA team members to deliver new functionality, resolve production issues, and maintain reliable and scalable applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full-stack web and mobile applications.
- Develop new features based on business and product requirements.
- Develop and maintain frontend and backend application components.
- Design, develop, and integrate REST APIs and backend services.
- Develop and maintain mobile application functionality.
- Work with relational databases and application data.
- Investigate and resolve application defects and production issues.
- Collaborate with QA engineers to troubleshoot defects and implement fixes.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, testing, deployment, and release activities.
- Support production deployments and application monitoring.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD processes.
- Maintain existing applications while contributing to new application development.
- Follow secure, scalable, and maintainable software development practices.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure technical knowledge sharing and continuity of production support.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Professional experience as a Full-Stack Software Engineer or Developer.
- Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot for backend development.
- Experience with Angular, React, or another modern JavaScript/TypeScript frontend framework.
- Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar relational databases.
- Experience with AWS or another major cloud platform.
- Experience with Git/GitHub and modern source-control practices.
- Understanding of CI/CD and automated build and deployment processes.
- Experience troubleshooting and supporting production applications.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work across multiple applications and projects.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Additional Requirements
- Flutter/Dart development experience for cross-platform mobile applications.
- Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Supabase or similar backend/database platforms.
- Experience with microservices-based application architecture.
- Familiarity with authentication and authorization technologies such as OAuth and JWT.
- Experience with application monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog, Grafana, Splunk, or similar platforms.
- Experience supporting production web and mobile applications.
- Familiarity with automated testing.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Previous professional experience developing full-stack applications.
- Experience working on production web and/or mobile applications is preferred.
