DescriptionInfor is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our CPQ engineering team. In this role, you will contribute to the development of highly configurable, enterprise-scale SaaS solutions while working across both front-end and back-end technologies. You will collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineering teams to design, build, and enhance software features that deliver value to customers.
We are looking for engineers who are passionate about creating scalable software, solving complex technical challenges, and leveraging modern development practices, including AI-assisted software development. Successful candidates will be comfortable reviewing and improving code, contributing to architectural discussions, and building software that is flexible, extensible, and highly configurable.
A Typical Day in the Life Includes:- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality full-stack software solutions.
- Build and enhance features using C#, .NET, TypeScript, and React.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain engineering quality and best practices.
- Evaluate, review, and improve AI-generated code to ensure maintainability, performance, security, and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex software defects and performance issues.
- Contribute to software architecture, design decisions, and technical roadmaps.
- Develop reusable frameworks, components, and services that support configurable and customizable product functionality.
- Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge sharing across the engineering organization.
- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies, development tools, and AI-driven engineering practices.
Basic Qualifications:- Experience developing software applications using C# and .NET. (8+ yrs)
- Experience building modern front-end applications using TypeScript and React.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, object-oriented design, data structures, and design patterns.
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
- Experience working within full-stack development environments.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience participating in code reviews and maintaining high code quality standards.
- Ability to understand, analyze, and improve existing codebases.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience developing SaaS or enterprise software products.
- Experience designing highly configurable, extensible, or framework-based applications.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools and workflows.
- Experience contributing to software architecture and technical design discussions.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
