We have an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer II on our Automatic Tank Gauge team. We are looking for motivated people to join us on our journey. You need to think big, move fast, and want to make a significant impact. Are you ready?
What you will do
• Design, develop, and execute software solutions to address business needs on our Automated Tank Gauge and related platforms
• Bring your knowledge of newer technology stacks and frameworks, and identify where they should be applied, helping the rest of the team get up to speed.
• Use your experience with Agile methodologies to improve the working of our Agile teams
• Collaborate with peers, electrical and mechanical development teams, quality assurance and others as needed to produce game changing solutions
• Mentor junior engineers on best practices in design and coding as well as transfer technical knowledge about newer technologies
Qualifications:
Who You Are
• Bachelors of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
• 3-5 Years of experience developing software in object-oriented programming languages. Ideally C+ or Java.
• Project leadership experience is preferred
• Experience with continuous integration and automated test technologies is useful
• Experience with REST APIs and JSON is useful
• Experience with AWS or Azure (and associated services) is useful
The base compensation range for this position is $96,800 to $120,000 per annum. Your actual base salary will be determined based upon numerous factors which may include relevant experience, skills, location (labor market data), credentials (education, certifications), and internal equity.
