About the roleWe're hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer to help build Tessera Mosaic, where AI agents work alongside people to transform how enterprises operate. You'll own meaningful product problems end to end, from intuitive interfaces for understanding and controlling agents to the data and backend systems that power them.
You'll work across product, design, data, and infrastructure, with significant ownership over both what we build and how we build it. If you enjoy turning ambiguous problems into polished products, working with complex enterprise data, and shaping an AI-native platform from an early stage, this role offers the opportunity to have an outsized impact.
What you'll do- Own ambiguous product and technical problems end to end: clarify the problem, investigate the underlying data and systems, propose an approach, align on tradeoffs, and ship.
- Build data-intensive product features across the stack, from polished React experiences to APIs, data models, and backend services.
- Build AI-native workflows that make agent behavior legible and controllable, including how users understand what an agent is doing, review its work, and intervene when needed.
- Integrate with enterprise systems of record such as SAP, Salesforce, and Workday, navigating complex data models, APIs, and real-world edge cases.
- Partner closely with product, design, and engineering to challenge assumptions, shape solutions, seek early feedback, and iteratively deliver real business value.
- Help shape the technical foundations of the platform through thoughtful architecture, reusable abstractions, shared components, engineering conventions, code review, and technical discussions.
What we're looking for- Strong experience building production applications with React and TypeScript, paired with backend experience designing APIs and services in Node.js, Python, Java, or a comparable stack.
- Strong data fundamentals and comfort working with relational data models, SQL, schemas, transformations, and the performance and reliability considerations of data-intensive applications.
- The ability to take a feature from database to UI. You don't need to be equally deep everywhere, but you're comfortable moving across the stack and learning what you need along the way.
- A track record of turning ambiguity into action: you define problems before solutions, ask good questions, make pragmatic tradeoffs, and iteratively ship rather than waiting for a perfect spec.
- Strong product judgment. You seek to understand and challenge the "why," contribute ideas rather than simply implementing requirements, and balance speed with quality, security, and maintainability.
- A collaborative, high-ownership approach. You communicate technical decisions clearly, contribute constructively to how the team designs and builds, and help other engineers do their best work.
Nice to have- Experience building AI-native or agentic products, including areas such as agent execution, tool use, observability, evaluations, or human-in-the-loop workflows.
- Experience with ERP, CRM, HCM, or other complex systems of record, particularly SAP.
- Experience working in fast-moving, early-stage environments and using modern AI-assisted development tools.
